Website Terms
Last updated: September 27, 2026
These Website Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of tinywebtasks.com (the “Site”), operated by Carrie Hildebrand as Tiny Web Tasks (“Tiny Web Tasks,” “I,” “me,” or “my”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Website purpose
The Site describes web design, editing, graphic, and related services and allows you to request information or a quote. Site content is provided for general information and may be changed at any time.
Quote requests and project agreements
Submitting a form or contacting Tiny Web Tasks does not create a designer-client relationship, reserve availability, or require either party to begin a project. Prices shown on the Site are starting points only. A project begins only after its scope, pricing, timing, and applicable payment terms have been confirmed in writing and accepted by both parties.
If a project’s scope changes or new information affects the work, I may propose an updated estimate, schedule, or agreement before continuing the affected work.
Your responsibilities
When using the Site or requesting services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information and respond reasonably promptly to questions or approval requests.
- Provide materials, access, feedback, and decisions needed to perform an approved project.
- Confirm that you own or have permission to use and modify all text, images, logos, code, credentials, files, and other materials you provide.
- Review deliverables and report issues within any review period stated in the applicable project agreement.
- Not submit malware, unlawful material, confidential information belonging to another person, or highly sensitive personal or financial information through the Site.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit deceptive or illegal requests, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce harmful code, scrape the Site in a manner that burdens its systems, or use its content to violate another person’s rights.
Intellectual property
The Site and its original text, design, graphics, branding, code, and other content are owned by Tiny Web Tasks or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view the Site for ordinary personal or business evaluation, but you may not reproduce, sell, publish, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission.
Ownership and usage rights for paid project deliverables will be stated in the applicable quote, proposal, or service agreement. Until all required payments are received, no transfer of rights is implied. Third-party materials—including fonts, stock assets, software, plugins, themes, and platform components—remain subject to their own licenses.
Third-party services and links
The Site may rely on or link to services operated by others, including hosting, forms, email, font, or website-platform providers. Tiny Web Tasks does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, content, or practices of third-party services. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms and policies.
No professional advice
Site content and design services are not legal, tax, accounting, cybersecurity, accessibility-certification, or regulatory-compliance advice. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice and determining the legal and compliance requirements that apply to your business and website.
Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Web Tasks disclaims warranties regarding the Site, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. This disclaimer does not modify any express commitments made in an accepted project agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiny Web Tasks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of—or inability to use—the Site. Tiny Web Tasks’ total liability for a claim arising solely from use of the free public Site will not exceed US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Privacy
Your use of the Site is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, and protected.
Changes and availability
I may update these Terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Site at any time. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the U.S. state where Tiny Web Tasks is principally operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal claim concerning the Site, you agree to contact me and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
